Real-time 3D display

 3D volume rendering images are displayed in real time during measurement. This function allows you to easily understand the internal structure in real time. It is also useful for the measurement of the desired target area.

Dynamics measurement

 Cell activity (such as metabolism and necrosis) is considered to be measured by analyzing changes in OCT signals over very short periods of time.

Example: cell death of spheroid
 In the figure below, green represents living cells and red represents dead cells. Normally, spheroid cells die from the inside due to lack of oxygen and nutrients (the inside is red as shown in the left column below), but in the presence of a certain amount of anticancer drug, cells may die from the outside as well (outside is red as shown in the right column below).
 The upper part of the figure below (blue frame) shows a fluorescent image. As shown in the lower part of the figure below (gray frame), a similar image could be obtained noninvasively using OCT.
