PXI (High-Speed, High-Performance Testing)

 The PXI modular measurement system is a robust computer platform dedicated to measurement and automatic control using general purpose PC technology (PCI bus). PXI can meet any need with its highly reliable body, numerous on-board I/O slots, and advanced timing/trigger functions. National Instruments offers more than 200 different PXI modules. In addition, because PXI is an open industry standard, more than 70 vendors offer more than 1,500 different modules.

CompactRIO (High-Speed Control and Distributed Measurement)

 The use of FPGAs supports high-speed control up to several tens of MHz and provides hardware-level determinism and reliability. The latest synchronization technology, TSN (Time Sensitive Networking), enables time synchronization and deterministic communication, simplifying the construction of distributed measurement systems. In addition, more than 100 I/O modules with built-in signal conditioning functions and high-precision A/D converters allow direct connection of various external devices and sensors.

CompactDAQ (Low Cost)

The CompactDAQ system is a customizable solution for performing electrical/physical measurements in benchtop or distributed architectures. Synchronizing CompactDAQ chassis creates a distributed system. In addition, CompactDAQ controllers are available in two types, one running Windows and the other running a real-time OS, allowing stand-alone operation.

PC-Based System (Benchtop Measurement)

 PC-based measurement/control systems, which connect NI hardware products to a PC via USB or Ethernet, come in two main types. ​One that connects the multi-function I/O device directly to the PC, and the other that accommodates I/O modules with signal conditioning in a CompactDAQ chassis connected to the PC.
